Gone But NEVER Forgotten
2006-04-27 -- Morgan
It is with much sadness that we share the news that our good friend Maya Gonzales passed away this morning after bravely battling cancer. Maya was not only a huge supporter of MAGNA from day one, but a dearly personal and kindred spirit. If you were not one of the fortunate people who knew Maya, you can get a hint of her sweet and vibrant nature here, and for the rest of us who did it is a tiny yet wonderful reminder of a unique individual who was much loved and will be missed. She was 31.

There's Always Time To Slag G.C.

It is my sworn duty as an actual musician and not a musically associated poser to continue to point out how sorry Good Charlotte is, and I get a thrill when other folks show that they "get it". Our latest potshot is courtesy of the brutally clever WWTDD.com, who always has a wicked word about what's wrong with the people who steal the air we breathe. Do your self a favor and peep their other articles, so you can see what kind of bastard I am that agrees...except for their incessant worship of Chestica Simpson - she just needs to find a nice stable and a bale of hay to park her horseface in.

On Wednesday at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in the morning, the time and date will be 01:02:03 04/05/06. Don't say MAGNA never gave you any valuable info. That's math magic.

While our long time in the making album Echo Location marches towards completion, I have been digging Wonder Showzen. I dare you to find any other show that can make you laugh as hard yet incoporate the phrases "this is where we learn to accept murder" and "I got to drink oil...right out of the fryer!". Then again, I'm hopped up on pills and wearing a floor length evening gown, plus I have an elderly man chained to a radiator in my basement doing algebra, so what do I know.

It was his genius that recognized this pervasive and absolute truth -- If you're in marketing or advertising, kill yourself...and that's why I call bullshit on AOL. Feel free to refute, you self-important corporate leeches.
PS. Here are some of his distinguished quips on religion, war, and advertising. Here are some more...
